Terms of Course Access

These Terms describe access to Remote Academy’s educational courses and tools. They are a working launch draft and will be reviewed before public sales begin.

What you are purchasing

Your purchase provides personal access to the Course, its learning activities, and included tools for as long as Remote Academy continues to support that product. Access is for one learner and may not be resold, shared, scraped, or used to reproduce the Course.

Education—not employment

Remote Academy provides education and guided practice. Course access, feedback, completion, a portfolio, or a certificate does not guarantee employment, placement, an interview, income, professional competence, or a formal qualification. Career decisions remain yours and hiring decisions remain entirely with each employer or client.

Price and payment

The price shown at Checkout is in South African rand and is the complete Offer accepted for that Purchase. Stripe processes payment. Discounts and private invitations may be limited to their named recipient and expiry date.

Seven-day refund policy

You may request a refund within seven calendar days of purchase by contacting Support. We may ask for enough information to locate and secure the Purchase. This contractual policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Refund abuse, chargebacks, or a completed refund may end Course access.

Acceptable use

Do not upload malware, another person’s confidential information without authority, unlawful content, or information you do not have permission to process. Do not attempt to access answer keys, other learners’ work, administrator tools, or protected media.

AI-assisted tools

AI Review and career tools may make mistakes. Check every output, keep claims truthful, and do not treat feedback as a hiring assessment or professional advice. Personalization is optional and governed by the Privacy Notice.

Your work and Course content

You retain rights in the original answers and materials you create. Remote Academy retains rights in the Course, prompts, templates, interface, and supplied materials. Any portfolio sample you share should be sanitized and must not expose a real client’s, employer’s, or third party’s confidential information.

Support and changes

We may correct, improve, or replace Course material while protecting saved work against incompatible revision changes. Contact Support for billing, accessibility, account, or content issues.
